Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Structure Specialist to design, implement, and maintain the database systems that will support the StockAuto Project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database architecture, data modeling, and optimization techniques. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient storage, retrieval, and management of vast amounts of automotive data, including a comprehensive VIN database.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement Database Systems: Develop robust and scalable database structures to support the StockAuto platform’s requirements, including a comprehensive VIN database.
• Data Modeling: Create logical and physical data models based on business requirements and ensure they are optimized for performance and reliability.
• Database Optimization: Implement strategies for database optimization, including indexing, partitioning, and query optimization, to ensure high performance and availability.
• Data Integration: Collaborate with the development team to integrate database solutions with other system components, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce database security measures and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of database structures, processes, and procedures for reference and future use.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in database design, implementation, and management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle), SQL, and data modeling tools.
• Optimization Techniques: Strong understanding of database optimization techniques and best practices.
• Data Integration: Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
